It is with deep regret and sadness that the Institute of Chemistry of Ireland
notes the passing of Professor Dervilla M.X. Donnelly,
a former President of the ICI (1994-1996)
and an Honorary Fellow since 2021.

Professor Donnelly was a pioneering scholar, a remarkable leader,
an incredible mentor and friend to so many,
a wonderful advocate of the ICI and a truly wonderful lady.

She will be deeply missed.
