ICI Centenary Congress 2022

The ICI hosted a very special Centenary Congress in the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street, Dublin on Thursday, 17th November, 2022.

ICI Boyle Higgins Gold Medal and Lecture Award 2022

The Boyle Higgins Medal and Lecture Award, instituted in 1985, is an award for research work carried out in chemistry under the headings: (a) Pure Chemistry, (b) Applied and Industrial Chemistry or (c) Chemical Education. The award is made for an outstanding and internationally recognised research contribution to the advancement of chemistry by a chemist of any nationality working in Ireland or by an Irish chemist working overseas.

Following an open call for nominations for this prestigious award and an independent and international review process, we are delighted to let you know that Professor Grace Morgan, School of Chemistry, University College Dublin, is the recipient of the ICI Boyle Higgins’ Gold Medal and Lecture Award 2022. Welch Foundation Chair, at Texas A&M University in the US, is the recipient of the ICI Boyle Higgins’ Gold Medal and Lecture Award 2021.
